I remember Joe as a child. My dad and his dad were army buddies in the Korean conflict. My parents, Tom and Marlene would visit the Papas often. I remember my brother and I playing with Joe when we'd visit. We'd look forward to his closet of games that they had in the basement. I also remember that his brothers were musical too because their band equipment was set up. One time I remember Vito playing Moon River on a keyboard in the living room. I see that joe was a musician as well with the photo of the guitar pictured here. I turned out to be a guitarist as well. I am choosing an orange candle because I remember lying on the living room floor and coloring with markers and Joe said that his favorite color was orange. Rest in peace. Prayers for healing to the family.

To Susan, Samantha, Angela, Joey, Rylee and rest of the Papa Family,
My deepest sympathies to all of you on the very sudden passing of a dear colleague and teammate to many of us as Northrop Grumman.
I knew Joe as a man of integrity with a humble demeanor, consistency in his support of our team and programs, and keeping his "cool", no matter what the situation.
Wishing you all an inner peace as you heal from your sorrow, and hold memories that will make you smile close to your heart.
Sincerely,
Joan Falcone

I am very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I worked with him many years ago at Grumman in Plant 5. He was always very helpful and kind. Just a real nice guy who did his job well and spoke so fondly of his young family. The word of his passing reached us coworkers who are now in Florida and we are all thinking of him and his family. Praying for you that you may have peace and comfort in your memories.
