To My Dear Sister In Law Joanne On Your 65th Birthday In Heaven .
I feel so blessed to have had you as a sister in law and I cherish all the memories we had together. Mike was a very blessed man to have found you. I know that you are up in heaven right now with all your Angel friends singing and dancing and celebrating your special day. I miss you so much. I miss your sweet nature, your wisdom, your kindness and always being there for me. Thank you for everything. Hope you are resing in peace. Until we meet again.
Love Mandy
She Is Gone
You can remember her and only that she is gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what she would want:
Smile, Open Your Eyes, Love and Go On.

To the family of my friend Joanne Appel: I am so very sorry for your loss.
I worked with Joanne, she was a very nice, kind person and we had a
special spring tradition that we enjoyed together. We discovered our mutual
love of gardening, so every spring we would take an extra long lunch hour to
go to the local herb farm to purchase our basil and other veggies. Joanne
especially loved the basil sold at this farm because it was so vibrant and
delicious. Sadly, I hadn't seen her since I left the Bank, but think of her often
and now, will always remember her as I plant my annual basil plants - and will
designate one especially in memory of my sweet friend Joanne.

I will always remember our time on the Plainedge track team.
Joanne was super fast, always laughing and having fun.
Way back when I was at Hofstra, she helped me learn COBOL.
We also did aeorbics with my sister Laura Alles McMeekin.
Those were the days.
May she sparkle down on us from heaven!

I have had many managers. Joanne was different. She was an amazingly caring person. Being a good person and caring about relationships were more important to Joanne than any transactional staff. Every conversation I had with Joanne would always close with Joanne expressing gratitude for the work I have done. Warranted or not, Joanne did not need to do that and it always brightened my day.

Mike, Annmarie and Family,
There are no words to express my sorrow for your loss of a most loving, warm, beautiful, intelligent and caring wife and mother. Annmarie you were your Moms whole world. She loved you way beyond imaginable! Always remember how deeply she loved you. And I will certainly miss our conversations that started out as just a 10 minute catch-up to a 90 minute call. Every time I make a crab cake I will def think of you Joanne. You will be forever missed. May you rest in the sweetest peace where there is no more sorrow and no more pain. I will continue to pray for you and your family and you continue to watch over them.
Hugs and kisses, Maria
