You took me under your wing the first day we met. You pulled me out of a dark place I was in and made me laugh. I cherish all the time we spent together and I think you. I will truly miss you, you will always be a part of my heart. Until we meet again. Thanks joe

Dear Lois and family.
Joe's departure is an indescribable loss. Our hearts are with you.
It is impossible to fathom not having Joe come over with his jolly attitude, hugs, funny chit chat, and forever optimistic outlook. The sadness is immense.
We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers, and hoping they will be a source of strength and inspiration.
May Joe's smile shine on you, always, and may his memory be a blessing.

Uncle Joe, this is your summer copilot. The memories we share from my youth to young adulthood to fatherhood will not be forgotten. Fishing at Captree, road trips to Up State to work on the Little Cabin and Big Cabin, fishing competition on the party boats, sealing the office parking lot, trying to find something in the black hole of the van, the jokes, the little songs, the little lessons, etc. priceless. Gone for now but not forever. Love Bryan

Dear Lois and family:
Thank you for the live Mass. It meant so much to me. To hear the words of wisdom and faith. To be reminded God has called Joe to come home.
My memories are from recent years as far back as school years when Lois and Joe became a couple.
Lois and I would take turns in the summer months and do sleep overs.
We got shakes from McDonald's. We wore white lip stick! Yikes!!!
We walked every where all the time. We would walk to the park in Plainview and meet up with Joe and his friends. We went to movies and concert at Nassau Coliseum.
Recently, Lois & Joe have been driving me to all family gatherings. How lucky was I to be in the company of a loving warm couple, Never making me feel like the 3rd wheel or a burden.
Joe you are loved and will be missed. I know you will be watching over Lois and your family.
God's Blessings for a peaceful resting place. And a joyful reunion with all your love ones who have past.
Your forever friend & family, Joyce

For Kathy and I, Joe was always the first to say hello, the first to ask us how we were doing and the first to make us smile. I will always remember him for his devotion to his family and how happy Lois and Joe always were together. He could light up a room and everyone gravitated to him. He was one of the good guys. For now we will you miss you Joe but we will see you again in a better time and a better place. To our family Joe will always represent goodness and character and I will forever consider myself lucky to know him. We will miss you Joe. Love always, Danny and Kathy Colavito

I will never forget Joe and all the crazy things we did together hunting and working and laughing so hard we would cry. Words can’t say how much I miss him and loved him. I have been going home 2 to 3 times a year to help him and now that is gone and It is killing me. Joe was a great brother-in-law to all of us but to me he was more he was and is my brother. I will see him again and we will laugh together one more time. So Joey I love you and miss you and will see you one day soon. I will never forget you, your brother

What can we say about a brother-in-law who was our brother, and an uncle who brought so much laughter and love to our family. Who always had time for us and was always there in the happy times and the sad times. Who would do anything for you, and usually did. Who was a giver to all. Who loved family and cared tremendously about everyone. Joe, you will always hold a huge place in our hearts. I know you have a first class ticket to Heaven and that God will be infinitely good to you.
We love you forever, Joe.
Love, Joanie and John
