Tommy was a great friend growing up. He was an amazing kid. I think we were around 12 years old and he had a lawn mower motor welded to his bicycle and made one of the first mini bikes in town. He also made wheelie bars for his bike so he could ride around town with the front wheel up in the air.Great guy Miss you brother. John Maiale

Mr. Tom was my son’s bus driver. I didn’t know him that well or for very long, however my family and I were deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Mr. Tom had such a positive impact on my life by just sharing his life experiences and knowledge. He gave my husband and I such perspective and I can never thank him enough for that. He believed in my son, and pushed him to do more and be better, and advocated for him! My son felt that and would run to the bus with a big smile on his face every morning when he would pull up and say “Good Morning Mr. Tom,” and now he is so very missed! In a world filled with so much controversy and unknowns, Mr. Tom continued to show kindness and compassion. He cared about the children and took pride in his job. He spoke so lovingly of his wife and daughter, and I pray for them during these trying times. I am blessed I got to meet Mr. Tom and I am thankful he was in my son’s life. I send the deepest condolences and prayers to his family and friends.

When you think of Uncle Tommy, you can't help but smile. Everyone who was lucky enough to be in his presence would be guaranteed a laugh. He had a witty and creative sense of humor. The day I got my license Uncle Tommy gave me a dollar bill with a cut out of his head over George Washington’s head that says “I’m watching you”. It’s been in my wallet ever since. I almost got the feeling it was an intimidation thing like don’t ever do anything stupid, I’ll find out, but means a lot to me. Anything he did, he made it special. His cars - the engines on them, the limo he supped up - I remember one year he gave us a tour of all the big houses with nice Christmas lights - I felt like royalty. And of course, the window in the dining room to showcase his cars. Or that time he signed my dad's car up to be featured in a "car" magazine... I won't go into details here! He always made you feel special, even without all the words, you just knew he cared. Family meant everything to him. He has always been there for us “Other Giordano” family - whenever we sent mail to each other we always addressed it to the “Other” Giordano family. Good or bad he was always there. When my dad had the most recent heart procedure, it was taking awhile so I drove to the hospital to sit in the parking lot with my mom. I pulled up and Uncle Tommy was already there. Knowing fully no one was getting in the hospital, but all we could do was wait and he was going to wait as close to his brother as he could. It wasn’t just in tough times, but in good times too - Aunt Joyce and Uncle Tommy were some of the first people to come see SadieLeigh in the hospital after she was born - he walked in with this huge teddy bear with an American Flag bowtie - she still sleeps with it every night. He had such a huge heart. He was always figuring out ways to make things special for Elyse - for example the slippers glued to her chair so her feet were never cold or the bike he built for her from scratch so they could enjoy the outdoors together. He was so creative like most minds don’t work. The fish tanks in the house, the pool (which is where I will always picture him - with a huge smile and golden brown tan), the TVs that will most likely have Jerry Springer on at all times for Elyse, or when he filled the downstairs room up with sand around the hot tub to give a more vacation feel! And not just in his house - but we all know Tommy G’s was pretty famous back in the day - I remember him telling me stories about the theme nights he would have - like filling the bar with foam and bubbles - I was so jealous I wasn’t old enough to experience a night there! He just cared, cared so much about those he loved. I always loved hearing his stories about when him and Aunt Joyce first met - how he thought she was the hottest woman he’d ever seen! Long blonde hair - the outfits, he could tell you exactly what she was wearing on dates. And I just learned that on their wedding day he had a red corvette on a flat bed waiting for Aunt Joyce when they left the church - not sure who it was more for... but definitely a grand gesture! He certainly loved his two girls so much. I always loved how much they all enjoyed the casino together - Jake’s will definitely be a whole lot duller without Uncle Tommy gracing it with his presence. I'm really going to miss love, his loyalty, his sense of humor and of course his terrible singing voice singing karaoke to Little Red Riding Hood. Happy first birthday in heaven, Uncle Tommy. I sure wish you were here to celebrate. I hope you, Grandma and Grandpa are doing something special. I love you.

"Tommy, the last time I saw you we were still in our teens. I remember riding in your hot rod Corvette, one off the fastest cars I've ridden to this day.
On the same visit you took me downstairs and played your drum set. You were practicing the drum roll introduction to the Four Seasons "Walk like a man". You asked me to sing along and I tried, but my falsetto voice had you laughing so hard you couldn't continue playing.
My condolences to Joyce, Elyse, Frank and Barbara and the Giordano family.

I don’t know why brother. It’s not fair. So much more to do in life. You were a great brother, father and husband and friend to all. Always willing to help and that sense of humor was great for all Be well on your journey.
Give mom and dad a hug and kiss for me. when we went to Florida your first request was to stop and get suntan oil. I explained they don’t use that anymore. You did turn crispy. We had a lot of great years together. You always remembered when I got my car how you chased me out the driveway wanting to come with me. I was 18 you were 12. As I burned rubber down the street, sorry I love you never to be forgotten, always loved. I could ramble for hours. I LOVE YOU.

Words can’t even describe this. Tommy was a huge part of my childhood from the day we moved in. He took me under his wing. We spent hours and hours working on cars, boats. Driving the limo to McDonald’s for his cheeseburger. Lol. I remember painting the bar when he first opened and got the very first tip.My Heart breaks for Joyce and Elise. He was an amazing husband and Father.
Rip in peace Slick. God speed. Heaven must needed a race car built. Or a pair of supped up wings.

I don’t even know where to begin, so devastated and heartbroken the first thing that comes to my mind is Tommy you were the true Peter Pan energy of a 16-year-old kid. Always with your gadgets and your toys.... absolutely could fix anything and always had something to show us that you were so proud of whether it was a car or something new in your house that you did .. just simply amazing. I still remember the first day that I met you when my sister moved into her house , that first day when you knocked on the door and we shut the door on you LOL from that moment it was instant family .The memories that I have since I was 18 I will cherish them forever ... you will always be to me (slick) I gave you that name when I was 22 years old what became a joke became the name that I called you always . You were such an amazing husband and father my prayers are with Joyce and Elise and your family you will be so missed I love you Tommy ( Slick) RIP

Our hearts are broken right now but, thankfully, your kind and generous heart and your fun loving spirit will bring smiles to our faces always. You gave us so many wonderful memories to hold dear. It was such a joy seeing the loving and devoted husband and father that you were. Our daily conversations, oftentimes making fun of each other, will be missed. Our love of cars and our many car shows, was something I always enjoyed sharing with my brother. Thank you for being a brother that was always there when we really needed you. Forever in our Hearts.
