Church, East Islip LI. Internment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, LI. Visiting Thursday 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 until 9:00 PM. Grace, always fiercely independent and protective of her family, was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1928, graduated with honors from Bushwick HS in 1946, worked as a secretary (administrative assistant) on Wall Street. Met and married Joseph in 1949. Had their only son in 1955. Moved to Massapequa in 1962. Worked as a supervisor for Grumman Aerospace, Bethpage for 20 years. Joseph predeceased her in 1996. Due to her independent spirit, Grace, in 2000 pulled up stakes in Massapequa and moved to Ridge NY where she continued her favorite hobbies, shopping, loving and supporting her growing family.
