Obituary
On Monday October 19, 2020, Emily Yodice, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at the age of 72.
Emily was born in Manhattan, New York, the first daughter to Andres and Ines DeJesus and is predeceased by her parents, and brothers Andres Jr. and Edwin.
Emily is survived by her loving husband Buddy Yodice, having celebrated just short of 50 years of marriage in August 2020. She is also survived by her son Brian of South Salem, NY, daughter Chrystie and her husband Eric Malec of New City, NY, and sisters Sandra and Cynthia DeJesus, of North Bergen, NJ. Emily was an adoring grandmother to Ethan (9), Emmett (7), and Emily (2) Malec.
Above all, Emily was a devoted mother and wife, who as the consummate hostess, took great pride in welcoming all into her home. When not entertaining, she was a tireless dancer, trophy winning bowler, enthusiastic traveler, and dedicated catechist for many years at Our Lady of Lourdes in West Islip, NY.
Flowers may be sent to the funeral home, or a donation in Emily’s name may be made to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. https://www.michaeljfox.org/

My heart is breaking for all of you. Emily was a very good friend of mine that I met thru Westbrook PTA, and our children going to school together. She was such a sweet, loving, caring woman, and I'm sorry that her life was so short. Rest in Peace Emily.
