It was a privilege to call you “Mum". Thank you for being a part of my life and for the care, protection and guidance that you've given.
I remember the moonlit walks along the road, all of us in tow. We giggled and recited our special chant about the moon. You chaperoned us along, with serenity and a wonderful smile.
Such pleasant memories.
I always will remember you fondly and will be grateful forever.
Rest in peace.
Much love,
Joan Bettencourt

We will miss you Nani. Seeing you was always the highlight of our visits to New York. You always had such wonderful words of wisdom and advice. We loved hearing all your memories of Guyana. We will miss your loving smile, kind eyes, and warm gentle voice. We know you are now resting in the abode of Lord Krishna's beautiful garden. We love you and you will forever be in our hearts.
Love Always Mike & Asha

Auntie/"Bharkey" was an icon of Henrietta Village. She had such a sweet and serene smile, a soft and gentle voice and much elegance and grace. These qualities together with her quiet disposition gave her a distinguished personality. She was an elder whom I admired very much. Her admirable traits are manifested in her wonderful children and grandchildren. My sincere condolences to them and all other relatives. May it warm their hearts and bring much comfort to them knowing that this fine human being has made the world a better place. May Auntie's/"Bharkey's" beautiful soul attain Moksha. Om Shanti.
From Mabel and family.

Our deepest sympathies goes to the Ramjas Family. Granny was a bright light and a shining example to all of us. In this moment of grief, be reassured that we are praying for this family and trust God to give you the strength and understanding through it all.
Granny embodied what life was meant to be. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
Charlie, Mohinie and kids.

My family and I always call you Nani. Nani, it was a great pleasure knowing you for quiet a few years. You were such a wonderful, loving and caring person. It was a great pleasure to take care of you for the past two weeks. I told you I was taking a week off and you said why so long for what I don’t know that was the last I saw you and talk to you. We are all going to miss you very much. I know you gone to a better place to be with the lord Krishna. Nani Rest In Peace. From Nadi and family

Nads, those two weeks you gave of yourself to her made her so happy. You made her smile and laugh. It was such a pleasure watching you interact with her. You treated her like your mother and for that I will be eternally grateful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Life Is Not The Same Without You
Right from the time we lost you
Life just hasn’t been the same,
We wish that we had one more chance
to see your smile again
The sun still rises with each dawn,
night still follows day,
but there’s always something missing
ever since you went away
The tide comes in, the tide goes out,
the sands of time pass by,
but thoughts of you will never fade
It’s so sad that you had to go
Your leaving caused such pain
But you were so very special
And earth’s loss is heaven’s gain
Life has surely lost its sparkle
The world often feels blue
But what give us strength and hope
Is the previous memory of you
