I was so saddened to hear of Ralph’s passing. He was part of my father’s (Henry Loser) B-24 crew during WW2. I was so glad to be able to communicate with him thru social media. My regret is not getting to meet him in person.
What a great man who I will never forget.
I have a feeling Ralph is reunited with the crew and are taking Old Smokey on a heavenly mission!
Sincerely,
Beatrice Moore

I am so sorry for the loss of your father. I never met him but he was so kind in filling in the pieces of my grandfather’s service in World War II. He was a wealth of information about their squadron and what happened on their base. What a gift for storytelling he had. He was a treasure and will be so missed. I thank God for him, & for his brave service to our country and I pray the Lord comforts you. I hope we all get to hear more of his stories when we meet in heaven!

My deepest condolences to Ralph's family on their loss.
He will be sadly missed. We became friends, although we never met personally, when he started to share with me his wartime experience serving in the 885th BS and running secret missions for the OSS.
We are still grateful, here, to that generation of American boys who helped us so much in our struggle for freedom, at enormous sacrifice, during World War II.

Dear Celeste, my name is Samy Bakar and I am sorry for the loss of your uncle, I wanted to kindly ask if I could have a contact with his family to request a copy of a letter written to him by a survivor of a plane crash during the Second World War that took place in my town (Livigno) in Italy... Thank you very much!
