Rest in Peace Uncle Tom. Thank you for showing us what a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather looks like in today's world. Aunt Linda, Carrie, Tom and Jimmy, and families we are so sorry that we cannot be with you to celebrate the loving life of your dad. He had a great life, a very happy life. Everyone saw it who knew him. Cherish the wonderful memories every day. I hope to see you all soon to give you all big hugs. I am sure Uncle Tom is hanging out with my dad as I write, laughing and reminiscing in a very beautiful place.
Sending love and sincere condolences.
Linda, Rick, Will Bryan and Emerson.

Aunt Linda, Carrie, Tom and Jim -
We are all so heartbroken by our beloved Uncle Tom's passing. Yet, we are comforted just thinking about his glorious homecoming and the fact that our separation is short-lived. He truly made an impact on my life with his warmth, sense of humor, genuine caring and love for family. I am a better man because Uncle Tom was in my life. God bless you all!

This world has lost one its greatest Saints. I had the pleasure of meeting Tom back in 1999 and worked with him for many years to follow. Because of that divine intersection of life, I had the opportunity of witnessing firsthand the amazing work of Jesus in and through this man. When I think of Tom, 4 words will always come to my mind. Humility, kindness, compassion, and grace. Tom always had such a unique and pure way of connecting with others. Never forced and always inviting, Tom was the one that others longed to be around. Whether it be his infectious smile, his uncontainable laughter, or his general presence in a room, Tom was always larger than life itself but ever reflective of how it should look. To me he was the gentle giant who could bring a sense of calm to every situation. Although a great deal of my time with Tom was spent in the workplace setting, I was so blessed to see the way he genuinely cared and loved Gods people, especially his family. I will deeply miss my friend...my brother. For the family, please know that during this time of such great loss, you will be bathed and lifted in prayer.

Dear Linda,
Sharon and I are sorely saddened to hear of Tom’s passing. In addition to being the great man that he was, he was a true friend to ourselves and to the entire Ahearn family. You already know that he will be terribly missed by all who know him. You and your children should be proud and happy to have had a life with Tom that would be the envy of anyone who loved living in this world. We, and no one, has words in their head, or on their tongue, that would sufficient to heal the pain that you are experiencing. But, please know that you and your family are loved by all who know you, and that that fact will surely make this trying time more bearable for you.
Our best wishes to you in the days ahead. Fondly,
Ed and Sharon Ahearn
