I first met your Dad when we were purchasing our home he was the lawyer for the family we were buying the home from. God bless! Send our love to your Mom.

Bob was a friend, mentor, counselor and inspiration to us. Without doubt, he will be missed by many people. He worked hard for justice and for the benefit of his clients, even if it resulted in loss to himself. He was charitable, and was always available to his clients, family and friends, working long hours in the process. I was a former secretary. He was like family to us, and we will miss him. We are saying many prayers for him and for his family, and we send our love to them. With deepest sympathy, Carol and Anthony

Thank you so much Carol. You speak of my dad with such high regard and he always did the same, with regard to you and Anthony. You expressed so well the sentiments that I strived to convey in preparing his tribute with the priest (really, almost point by point.) His desire to serve others and to fight for justice was one of the most important things that defined him. Thank you again, your presence over the past couple of days has been so welcomed and appreciated.
Love,
Christine xo

The first time I met Uncle Bob, he was at his sister Flo’s house, sitting on the couch. I was somewhat new to the family, having dated my husband Ray for only a short time. When introduced as Ray’s girlfriend, Bob shared some of the old stories of how he used to put the “boys” on his knees and sing to them when they were little. Flo was in the kitchen all excited that Bob came to visit and trying to get him something to eat and Irving, Bob’s brother-in-law, was teasing with his usual dry humor. There was a lot of chatter and excitement and a wonderful sense of family. I asked Bob what he sang to the boys and his answer was a rendition of “There’s a Hole in the Bottom of the Sea”. He had such a deep voice for a relatively slight man and a twinkle in his eye that gave away his total enjoyment of his performance. That vision of Uncle Bob and the song he sang will stay with me forever.
PS: Raymond just informed me that Uncle Bob also sang, “Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone” accompanied by the accordion!
Raymond and I loved Uncle Bob and will miss him dearly. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family.

Thank you so much Joan, your memories of my dad warm my heart. He'd love the memories you shared and hold in your heart. (He did have a twinkle in his eye, didn't he!) I love the pictures from Albuquerque, especially with his cousin Elaine. I know how much he loved you and you, him. Thank you. I only wish you and Ray lived closer.
Love,
Christine xo
