Obituary
Norma Arroyo, 86 loving wife, mother, grandmother, and soon to be great grandmother and beautiful soul went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 24, 2020. She was predeceased in death by her parents Juan Hernandez, Alejandrína Hernandez, husband Araxter Arroyo and siblings, Johnny, Henry, Alice, and Elma.
She leaves behind son Duane Arroyo, daughters Rosanna DeTommaso and Darlene Ward, eight grandchildren, a great grandchild on the way, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She loved her family and friends with all her heart.
In her younger years, she enjoyed gathering with the family, dancing, swimming and spending time with her husband. My mother and my father had a love that lasted decades, so much, that we coined them “the lovebirds”. Later in life, she enjoyed playing cards, gathering with the family and loved ones. She was a very caring person who loved life.
She will be deeply missed by all.
The lovebirds are together again.

I met my friend Norma when we both attended Junior High School 43 and Commerce High School. She was always dancing in the hallways.
Norma was a fun and good person and a good friend. She loved life and she loved her family.
She will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Sorry to hear about your loss.
With Deep Sympathy.
Lydia

I will always remember her as Mamasita, whom with I enjoyed sleepovers and swimming in the pool in her home in Farmingdale. Mamasita and Grandpa Sonny are together again, enjoying a casino in the heavens.
