Daniel (Danny) Rice of College Point, New York died suddenly on Sunday May 17th, 2020 at the age of 55. Devoted and loving father to Ashley and Aiden Rice. Dedicated fan of the Rolling Stones. Gentle, kind and funny father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Danny was a retired New York City police officer of the 94th Precinct in Brooklyn.
Danny Rice is survived by his former wife Michelle Nunez, daughter Ashley, son Aiden, brother Sean, sister Catherine and many nieces and nephews: James, Stephen, Kaitlin, Sean Jr., Nicole and Jessica, as well as sister-in-laws Jan and Kathy Rice. Danny was predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary Rice and brother James (Jimmy) Rice. Danny is buried in the family plot at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, Long Island.
