I am so sorry to read about the passing of Coach. He was my wrestling coach in high school in the early sixties. Coach Rouleau was always bigger than life for me and he continues to appear in my mind even now. Been over 50 years but I can still hear his words of encouragement and guidance as I was young man with little ambition back then. He was most definitely the influence of the man I became.
May he rest in peace and never will be forgotten.
My sincere condolences,
Peter LoBello

Mr. Rouleau was my gym teacher, I graduated EIHS in 1867. I was not a particularly gifted athlete (nor was I much interested in athletics). I saw the decency, leadership and humor Mr. Rouleau possessed and always respected him. May he Rest In Peace.

Mr rouleau was my physical education teacher. He was also the wrestling coach. One day I n PE class we were going through the wrestling portion of the semester. I made the fatal mistake of telling him that wrestling was for wusses. He immediately stopped the class and told me to get in the wrestling stance on the mat( I was 150 lbs). He had George Carter, unlimited state champion(300 lbs) get a hold of me. He pinned me like I was a rag doll. I never spoke about wrestlers again, and I watched the smirk on Mr Rouleaus face after George Carter picked me off the mat. Good one Mr Rouleau! RIP
