I'll always cherish the memories of the many times you stopped at our house in Corona on the way home from work to just say hello to your sister Iolanda and to our family. You gave me the nickname "Andrew H Brown" and always said it the same guttural way as one of the characters in the Amos and Andy TV show of the 50's. And of course had a big laugh after saying it. I remember going to your house in Brentwood with my father and Uncle Tony to help paint before you and Uncle Mary Ann moved in. And I remember the summer barbeques in the backyard growing up.
You are a great uncle and will be dearly missed.
My love, sympathy and condolences go out to the whole family. May he Rest in Peace..

Although we did not see each other as often as we'd like in recent years, I so enjoyed our phone conversations. You always were able to make me laugh. Even though you were feeling ill the last time we spoke, you still had your sense of humor and you brought a smile to my face..
You were always a special brother to me and a great Husband, father, grandfather and Uncle to your family. We will cherish the wonderful memories we have of you.
We love you, rest in peace.

Uncle Anthony was so much fun and joy to be with plus a down to earth great guy. Always funny and made me laugh. My first experience really getting to spend time with him was when me, Joan, Bobby, and Richard went to Las Vegas. I think I got him hooked on that Wheel of Fortune slot machine. We had so much fun and us two stayed at the slots while the rest went to sleep back to room. Uncle Anthony can hang out. We were glad when he said it was the first time he wore his bathing suit and went in the pool we had a blast. We also had a great laugh when me, him and Joan went on the strip to shop and we wore our bathing suits with cover ups. He couldn't believe he was outside with his bathing suit (and shorts and shirt) on. When we passed one of the street performers who imitated Edward Scissor Hands the performer pretended to snip Uncle Anthony's hair on top he had such cool hair. We had a great laugh. I would see him at times when we visited Aunt Katie and Joan and enjoyed when he was there. In the last year he would come with Karen and Sean and Katrina to meet me, and cousin Andy's girls at Jones Beach for a concert at night we enjoyed it a lot. He also met me with some cousins at the outdoor beer garden and we were so looking forward to going again to all. His love for both his children and grandchildren was very obvious when he spoke of them and all the trips and visits he enjoyed with them. Uncle Anthony rest in peace you will never be forgotten and always add a smile to me when I think of the good times we had.

Rest In Peace Uncle Anthony. We grew up and went to school together. His love for country music rubbed off on me. I loved the old favorites and grew to love the new trend in country music. We both have a love for Miranda Lambert. I always kidded him about his hair and mustache. Told him she dropped the " i " from her last name because she didn't want to be associated with that dude with the ugly mustache. We would laugh. He would smile and pull on his mustache. My friends in Las Vegas loved Uncle Anthony and Karen and always reminisced about the good time they had with him and Karen. Uncle Anthony a one of a kind. Richard Policastro

I wish I had a photo of this to share but I always loved reminiscing with Uncle Anthony about how often I would run into him at random locations. Our favorite joke was when I was 16 or 17 I saw him at the outlet stores in Riverhead and said ‘ Hi, I think you’re my uncle Anthony!? ‘. We would always joke about that every time we’d see each other at family events, and how often I’d run into him in the city when I was at university and he was still working. Most recently in August of 2019 we were lucky enough to get to spend time together as a family at Jones Beach for a tribute concert, I had a such a wonderful time watching him with my niece Malia and spending time with the family. He will truly be missed by so many. May he Rest In Peace with all of our other family members that have passed. All my love, Andrea

This picture was taken in 1958 in front of grandpa and grandma's house. Everyone teased uncle Anthony about his hair. I remember his visits to my mom's house when we were kids. He parked his car at Shea stadium so he would visit before driving home to the island. He was a great family man. Will miss you Uncle Anthony.

These photos are from August 2018 on a restaurant outing to Brooklyn. As always with Uncle Anthony there were LOTS of laughs.
I had many nicknames for him. Because we were so close in age it was more like a cousins than an Uncle/Nephew relationship.
I seldom called him 'Uncle' ... just Anthony ... or actually {phonetically} Ant - nee. LOL
Over the years he was "Braz-a-ma-jig-um", "Hot Shot", "SuperStar", 'The Colonel" {because with that mustache he looked like
Colonel Saunders of KFC - Kentucky Fried Chicken}.
Ant - nee introduced me to Country Music ... He Loved Hank Williams ... He said Hank's hit song "Hey, Good Lookin' " was about him! LOL.
OMG I'm gonna miss him ... a TRUE ORIGINAL ... there was no one like him!

Many people have asked us about donating to a charity in memory of Dad.
A few charities that he donated to over the years are: Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude, and Catholic Ministries.
The St. Anne's food pantry in Brentwood is also able to take non-perishable food donations- call Pastoral Care at 631-273-8113 for details.
Thank you to everyone,

Although he was born Anthony Frank Lamberti, he was known by lots of other names: Dad, Grandpa, Uncle Anthony, "T", Tony, Baby Brother, Brother Bones, and a few more. He loved his family and had a collective of friends that he treated like family as well. He was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Anne's Church in Brentwood and spent Wednesdays at Southside Hospital giving the Eucharist, and praying with patients and families. He also assisted with collecting food to bring to the church food pantry on a weekly basis.
Those that knew him knew the most important thing to him was his family- immediate and extended. He loved visiting and traveling with us. He loved classic country music- Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, George Jones, etc. He would always tell us to "Keep it Country". He enjoyed a good cocktail- Manhattan straight up and Hennessey were two of his favorites. He had a great smile and loved to laugh and joke around.
So many family members and friends have been sharing wonderful stories about Dad with us. Please feel free to share a memory about Dad here so that we can all reflect on it and remember what a special man he was.
