My Nana was so proud. She was proud of her accomplishments. She deserved to be proud. I feel blessed to come from such strength, grace and love wrapped up in one intelligent and dynamic woman. Nana, I think of you everyday. Our sleepovers, my favorite dish you made (papas), how you would loan us your house dresses when we slept over. You loved to cook and play the organ. I never learned but my daughter plays. Her inner strength and perseverance reminds me of you. Nana, I was relieved when I visited you at the nursing home. You felt at peace and happy in your own way. I know it wasn’t always easy but you lived a very dignified life. You left a mark; something that most wish to do. You were right about everything you taught me. I wish I had listened closer. You had faith like nobody I’ve ever met. You taught me how to pray. I know you are still with me, still with all of us. I can still smell the Jean Nate and baby powder❤️. I still laugh at how you kept your money in secret hiding places (always cautious and aware). I strive to be half the woman you were. Thank you for showing me that women are strong and independence is a beautiful quality. You knew me before I knew myself and your words will forever ring inside of my mind. I will always love you and never forget your priceless gifts. Love, Your Baby

I first met Flor as a teenager when I was dating her daughter, we will be celebrating our 48th year of marriage this August, I thank Flor for raising such a beautiful loving person. When I would go to see her, I had to stay outside of the house, regardless of the weather, unless Flor was home and before it got to late she would politely suggest that it was time for me to leave. I respected her for this, she was raising three daughters alone. Flor's life was her children and grandchildren, while sometimes she was a little overwhelming, it was always because of her love for them. I believe that even as a son-in-law we had a very good relationship and grew to really love each other. I was one of the few people who had the opportunity to see her in her work life as well as her personal life, since we both worked at J.P. Morgan until she retired. At work she was always very professional in the way she carried herself and in the performance of her job, I was proud for others to know that we were related. I know that her legacy will live on in her children and grandchildren with all the advice and caring that she showed them all, she had such a big heart, she wanted to take care of all of them. I know that she is at peace and resting in heaven and probably giving St. Peter some really good advice. I am glad I had the opportunity to know and love her, she will be missed.

From the earliest moments of my life, learning "que linda manito" and being mesmerized by your moving hand, I am forever grateful for your presence in my life.
Grandma, you were a strong, loving and funny person with boundless energy. You taught us to always persevere and make the best out of all of life's moments. Thank you for the countless memories and life lessons, I promise to carry your fire, energy, charm and love to my family and my children. For that, you will live forever. Now you may rest in peace.
Love, Jason, Annmarie and Ella

Our Mom
Mom will forever be in our minds and hearts, our heart beats because of her. She gave us so many values to live by and her guidance was heartfelt, we know she wanted the best for us.
Our Mom always coped with so many difficulties from time to time, but with faith in God. She raised her daughters alone without support. She enjoyed her career at J.P. Morgan till retirement. Her greatest joys were being with her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren and of course cooking for us.
Mom loved life, she enjoyed playing the piano, traveling, Broadway shows and lunch with friends. We will try to follow in her footsteps, even though we will always be a step behind, we will stay close to her always.
In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in her name to Christmas Magic.
Our Love,
Mary & Xiomi
