We met Robert and Eileen in 1989, when we bought the house two doors down from them on Rock Road. For the next 13 years we carpooled kids, went to school functions, meet-the-teacher night, girl scout meetings, we had block parties, birthday parties, pool parties and went to church with the Bramanti Family, as our daughters grew up to be lifelong friends. Robert was always an easy going and soft spoken guy, and our mutual love of the Mets was one of the many things we had in common. I always grew a big vegetable garden in my backyard, and when the Zucchini started to grow, Eileen asked me for the zucchini flowers, because she would batter and fry them for Robert, he loved them! My kids spent a lot of time with Robert and Eileen, Michele and Melissa. Over the years we made a lot of memories. We moved away in 2002 but we always go back home to visit our "Rock Road family." On our last visit home just 9 months ago we ran into Robert and Eileen at Stanley's Bakery, and although I'm sure the employees weren't thrilled about it, we stood in that store for about an hour talking, laughing and catching up! Here's our last visit with Robert and Eileen. and I will cherish this memory the most. Robert, we will miss you and we and pray that you are at peace. Eileen, Michele and Melissa, we will always be family, no matter how far apart we live. And as soon as we are able, we will come give you a big hug. Sending all our love and most sincere condolences, The Musante Family

Uncle Robert... May you rest in peace. I am so thankful to have had so many holidays, vacations, sleepovers, celebrations, and memories with you. Your love and support for your family was seen by everyone and will live on with them forever. I know you will be a guardian angel for your beautiful grandchildren. Out of all of the photos I have looked at over the past week, this one perfectly shows the loving father and husband you were to "your girls". We will never forget the impact you had on our lives. I love you so much. Until we meet again...

Robert was a good man with a great heart. He raised my dear friend Melissa and will go on to be a watchful guardian angel for her and her soon to be born son. He was always so kind whenever we would go over to the Bramanti house. I remember how friendly and thoughtful he was when I last saw him at Dericks birthday party: always asking about me, my family and all of our friends. He will be deeply missed.
I am extremely sorry for his untimely death and hope that Melissa, Eileen, Michele and the entire family find some peace and comfort during the dark moments. Know that you are all very loved and prayed for. May Robert Rest In Peace.
Love always,
Jen Zeman

I have known Robert for many years. I have been to his home more times than I can count. He was there as Melissa, I, and all of our friends grew up in front of his eyes. He was always so kind, gentle, and compassionate to us; even as crazy rowdy teenagers.
Eileen, Michele, Melissa, Ernesto, Derick, Giuliana, & Giovanni: my heart is breaking for your family as I know how important he was to all of you . He was the definition of a family man. I hope that you guys can remember all of the beautiful and joyous memories that you all experienced as a family. The closeness and unity of your family throughout the years is truly beautiful, and is, in my eyes, a true testament on how a family should be.
I, personally, will always remember Robert as the man who always had a smile on his face whenever I saw him.
A smile, so kind and so warm, that it was contagious to anyone who saw him.
Rest peacefully Robert. You will be missed immensely.
Love, Sherry
