Uncle Al was one of the most important influences in my life growing up for so many reasons. His constant jovial spirit, warm and loving embraces/kisses, his sense of humor, love of baseball, his love for his family, gifted story telling and so much more were such great examples for me. I will never forget the summers and holidays we shared in getting all of the cousins together. It was always an adventure and I will cherish those memories forever. Meeting Ed Kranepool in the office at Franklin National Bank with just our family was so special, trips to Jones Beach, METS games, listening to Italian music in the basement during hot summer nights or spending hours around the table eating, laughing and sharing stories to the wee hours of the morning. Simply the best childhood one could hope for.
Thank you, Uncle Al, for being such a great role model for me to follow with my own family (two daughters) and a career in the business world. You always gave me such great advice and I knew I could always count of you if I needed help. I know there is a celebration in Heaven now that you've joined your parents, your brother, your daughter Madeline, Chris, Donna and so many others that are there to meet you with open arms. I miss you. Mike Fioravanti

So sad to hear about Al’s passing. I would see him and Pat at church all the time and he always had a smile and a kind word. He will be sorely missed but is surely resting easy in the arms of our Lord.

My father was a very special man. He had morals, a great sense of humor, a love of God, and an undying love for his wife and family. He had a special talent to make people feel good and welcomed. As children, he never failed to make us laugh as we remember his silly nicknames, 'horseyback' rides, watching cartoons, playing running bases, and many more games. He loved to sit at the table and have long talks. Sunday dinners, vacations, and holidays were spent with our family and probably some of the best memories I will ever have.
He loved to take us to shows and spend Christmas time in the city. He loved the arts, music, and of course baseball. We all grew up with these same values and traditions and we instill them in our children today. All of his 17 grandchildren were treated like his favorite with all his warm hugs and kisses. Sleeping babies in his arms were like his treasures. He loved his sons and daughter-in- laws like they were his own.
We will take good care of Mommy, Dad. Rest in peace with Madeline and all the angels. Thank you for all your love and advice. Love you forever, Andrea ("Skeeter")

Grandpa, You were truly one in a million. Our favorite childhood memories were spent at your house every Sunday spending time with the most incredible family that you and Grandma created. Thank you for teaching us that there's nothing a big belly laugh, an extra hard hug, and a kiss on the cheeks (or twenty) can't fix. Whether it was a story about baseball or telling us a story of your time in the Air Force, you always had a smile on your face and warmth in your heart. Your infectious love and family values will be passed on for generations to come. We are truly blessed to be your grandchildren and will miss you always. Rest easy gramp, We love you. Sincerely, Jillian, Jaimie, and Alex

To my Uncle, “Zeets” my fondest childhood memories was spending my time with you, Aunt Pat, and my cousins during the holidays. In addition, You always let me stay at your house, weeks at a time in the summer when I wasn’t getting along with some in my house and I got to see and learn what the meaning of family was really about. To see how close everyone is on the Fioravanti side of the family made me realize that it started with you. Having a family of my own now made me appreciate and admire you more than ever. I strive to create the loving family environment in my household the way you did and I will always be grateful. I know you are in a better place now and you are at peace looking down on us. I will always remember the good times we had and will miss you. I love you, Franky

To my loving father-in-law, I could not have asked for a better person to be related too. Since the first time I met you and the family, you hugged and kissed me like I was one of your own daughters. In one of the saddest times in my life, when I lost both my parents, you reassured me that they would always be looking down protecting me. And now, I know without a doubt that you will always be watching over me and this family. I will miss your smiling face, and your kisses and hugs always. Thank you for showing all of us that family is by far the most important thing in this life. Rest in peace with your beautiful daughter Madeline. Love you always and forever, Zippy.

Dad, you truly embodied the word “Family” in every way, shape and form. At times when I was younger and just wanted to be with our friends you always stressed the importance of family and tradition. As I became older and had my own family I saw all that you meant. I so looked forward to the Sunday dinners, the holidays, birthdays, vacations and special occasions to hang out with our loving and growing family because you and mommy made it all happen. Most of the best times of our lives were with our family. The time you rented the van and took us all to the city to see the Christmas shows is still some of my most beloved memory. At times I almost felt guilty to have such a close loving family as so many people may not. You and mommy were always open and inviting to all people, welcoming them in to be part of our family. You as the orchestrator and mommy as the facilitator. You truly had a unique way of making anyone feel important and loved. I hear story after story of how you have touched people’s lives and the main theme is always the same, a kind, loving and caring man. You were always so nurturing that everyone felt like you were their Grandpa. You will always be known as “Grandpa” at North Babylon’s little league baseball community. It was funny to be with you and have some adults come up to you and call you Grandpa and you would be like, “yeah I coached him when he was young” or you encouraged him to coach their kids team even though they had no previous knowledge or confidence to do so. With all this, as a man that lived is life in believing in the importance of family and togetherness, to pass without any of your family by your side due to this horrendous virus makes no sense. It is so difficult for me to understand as to how this can be. You deserved to have everyone one of your children and grandchildren and all the people you welcomed to be there by your side comforting you or holding your hand. For reasons I do not understand it was not part of God’s plan. If I imagine what your funeral procession would be like in normal times it would be that of a dignitary, with lines of cars a mile long, but again, not meant to be. I know you are in a better place no longer suffering. I know you are back to the smiling and happy person we all remember. Your legacy will live on, I know you are looking down upon us all until we meet again. Even now, while writing this I can feel your embrace of one of your heart warming hugs.
Love you Dad may you Rest in Peace!
Albert

To our Grandper - the man who taught us how important family is, how to always laugh at ourselves, & to love unconditionally. Those tight hugs and double cheek kisses, will be forever missed. Continue to look down on us and give Aunt Madeline a big kiss for us.
Love always & forever! Michelle, Chris & Gianna
