My name is Rob Castora, and I was a friend of Patricks.
I just heard the news, and I am so, so sorry for your loss.
Our children were friends, and Patrick was a good friend to me as well.
He was an incredible person and was so generous and giving. He was there for me and my family at the drop of a hat.
Patrick and his children are all so incredibly special.
I am heartbroken to hear of his passing and pray for your family, and for Patrick and Joe.
If the time is ever right, I would love to have our children continue their friendship.
God bless you all.

I have had the pleasure of being one of Patrick’s children’s teacher and my heart is broken for them. His little boys are so sweet and have been through so much. I think of them often and lost my breath as I heard of his passing. He was a devoted father who was at all of their games and activities in school. I pray for him and his family and hope they can all find peace. I will never forget what a lovely family they are. They have a special place in my heart.

Patrick, I KNOW you can hear me... and I know what you just did. You made me laugh again, and remember deeply how very much I love you.

Was Pat's roommate at Camp Pendleton for 3 years. What started off as less than ideal, turned into a relationship of respect, admiration, and brotherly love. Would not be who I am without all the people in my life, but Pat was truly special among all. Miss you. Love you.

In memory of one of the greatest and dearest friends our household has ever had the honor and joy to know. We'd been through so much together, and shared so deeply... I shall faithfully keep all the promises I made to you. Keep looking after me, brother. Love you forever.

Pat was a very generous and giving soul. He was also very intelligent. He knew everything about everything. He cared about everyone and never judged anyone. He was Incredibly selfless and there for anyone who needed help, always willing to lend a hand in anyway that he could. If anyone was having problems he would console them and call them to make sure they were okay and he would tell them that “things will get better” and to “pray”. I remember a conversation we once had where I told him that he was one of the best people I have ever met in my life. Words don’t do justice for how kind he was. He had great morals and values. He improved me in more ways than I can count and set an example for how good people should really be. He loved his family and would do anything for his kids. He made sure they had extra-curricular activities and was always there for them. My last words to Patrick were “I will call you later, take care”. Little did I know that would be the last conversation I would ever have with him. It saddens me and there are no words to show how it feels to lose my dearest friend. Rest In Peace Patrick. My prayers are with you and your family during this time. The world has lost a truly beautiful soul, but I know you are in heaven shining down.

My sincere condolences to all who loved Patrick.
I am a better person for having known Pat and he had helped me immeasurably over the last thirty years.
I will carry his memory and the great times we shared in the Marine Corps for the remainder of my years on this earth.
Rest in peace my friend.
