A Wonderful Life
Our navigator’s journey, has reached the long rest.
Not just a regular guy, but amongst the world's best.
Just look at the lives he has touched, all those that truly know,
The friends and family, who shared -- and felt -- his warm glow.
Joyful and wise, with his teddy bear looks,
Generous, passionate and fair, he was one for the books!
It was an honor to have known Joe, and a blessing, as well,
So his glories and stories, we should tell and retell.
In order that Giuseppe Antonio lives on in memory,
We're charged to speak of him often -- especially to his youngest family.
For only in that way can we fulfill an elder's role. . . . . .
To preserve for him, a place on earth, when heaven takes his soul.
With love and heartfelt sympathy,
Rob & Adah Sylvan

Uncle Joe, my Godfather, you were truly a blessing to our family. I am so grateful for your kindness and guidance over the years and especially thankful for being such a wonderful brother to my dad. Although the miles kept us apart, please know that you were always in our hearts and will be forever.
Love,

Dear Joe and family...
Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to meet Joseph A. Stallone but I definitely sure that he was a fantastic father and grandfather and he brought plenty of kind things in this world. It is good to know that he has such a big loving family and a lot of friends and they will carry the remembrance about him during their lives. He lives in our hearts ...

MY UNCLE JOE
I remember Uncle Joe as a kind, gentle and considerate man who always had a smile for me. I don't ever recall him taking the limelight although he certainly had reason to. His star came shining through anyway. Once he set my mind at ease when an unfortunate incident ended with my spending a night in the Hyannisport jail!. He listened carefully and said, " Don't worry, Madeline. It'll be OK." And it was.
He always had a warm embrace for me whether it was ten days or ten years in between. I send that beautiful embrace back to his loving family and friends. I like to think Uncle Joe is somewhere over the rainbow smiling at us and laughing at Marty's antics!

Dear Terry and family,
We are devastated with the news of losing Uncle Joe. We will be on Long Island May 17 and May 18 and hope to see you then.
Uncle Joe was an unforgettable presence in my life. We all looked up to him and his gentle and knowledgeable way of living life. He went to college before me and paved the way for me, always so supportive.
My parents, Laura and Marty were so very fond of him. There is of course no way to measure the love my mother had for Terry. Terry's beautiful floral painting hangs in our kitchen as a constant reminder of Uncle Joe now, along with Terry and her love for our family. Love from Anne and Ray
