A Wonderful Life
Our navigator’s journey, has reached the long rest.
Not just a regular guy, but amongst the world's best.
Just look at the lives he has touched, all those that truly know,
The friends and family, who shared -- and felt -- his warm glow.
Joyful and wise, with his teddy bear looks,
Generous, passionate and fair, he was one for the books!
It was an honor to have known Joe, and a blessing, as well,
So his glories and stories, we should tell and retell.
In order that Giuseppe Antonio lives on in memory,
We're charged to speak of him often -- especially to his youngest family.
For only in that way can we fulfill an elder's role. . . . . .
To preserve for him, a place on earth, when heaven takes his soul.
