Dear Gambino Family - Was saddened to hear of Mario’s passing. I met Mario at a bereavement meeting at St. Charles Hospice 8 years ago. The group got together for lunch during these eight years. We shared many great times. Mario was a gentle man with many interests. I enjoyed talking about gardening which was his passion. He lived a full life & enjoyed every minute. Rusty and I met Mario on a National Parks Tour that we took in September. Our bus got delayed at a road block for a while so the tour director started playing music... Mario and Marie got up and danced in the isle! Later in the trip a small group of us went white water rafting on the Snake River. He was making the most of the experience. What a shock to hear this news!! We would like to extend our condolences to Marie and to Mario's family. Rest in peace Mario. Jim & Rusty Steffen
