We will always remember the very thoughtful things you did when young Patrick Hlavaty passed, opening up your house for family and friends in Paul Smiths. Spring 2019 when Jim, Darci, and Lauren came up to visit Haley in Syracuse for Easter. The weekend included a nature walk at Green Lakes state park, a night full of board games and laughs, and (by Jim's request) a trip to the Erie Canal museum!

Thank you for being a friend we traveled down a road and back again your heart is true, you're a pal and a confidant. I'm not ashamed to say I hoped it always will stay this way. And when we both get older with walking canes and hair of grey have no fear, even though it's hard to hear I will stand real close and say, THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND. And when we die and float away into the night the Milky Way you'll hear me call as we ascend I'll say your name JIM BURDGE!!!!! then once again THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND!!!!!!! Jim
