Rudolph Frank Martinek, Jr passed away on September 18, 2019 at his home in Mastic, New York. Rudolph was born in Flushing, NY on November 17, 1941. He was a lifetime resident of Long Island having lived successively at Great Neck, West Islip and Mastic. He was a Navy veteran having served as a crewman on the US Navy submarine tender USS Simon Lake (AS-33) based at Holy Loch, Scotland. He was honorably discharged on 33 Aug 1973. At the time of his death he was a retired barber. His primary retirement interest was fishing. Rudolph never married and has no issue. His siblings include a sister Claire Joyce (Martinek) Long of Crofton, Maryland, a brother Lawrence M. Martinek, M.D. of Harker Heights, TX, a sister Carolyn June (Martinek) Prasek of Plainview, NY, and a predeceased sister Janice E. (Martinek) Hikes of South Plainfield, NJ.
