John was an amazing support to the families, teachers and staff who started The Bridges Academy. He will remain in our hearts as a kind gentlemen who helped us transition from St. Peter's to The Bridges Academy. His gentle ways helped to guide us through the process of ending our time at St. Peter's and carrying on to The Bridges Academy. We hold St. Peter's near to our hearts and keep many of the traditions at the new school. John's wisdom and big heart came at such an important time for us. We remain grateful for his support. We send our love and prayers to his family.
Sincerely,
Molly Hays-Jette

Betty,
I was John's roommate our last year at USNA.
I was also a groomsman at your wedding.
Long, long time ago.
Wish I could say I remember your face, but I do remember the day.
For whatever reason John and I never remained in touch.
Facebook deprived, I guess.
Doesn't mean I didn't think of him.
I do remember seeing John at our 2001 reunion.
'm truly sorry for your loss.
I'll say a private prayer.
Don

John was a wonderful man. He never forgot to ask me about my son during and after his years at the Naval Academy. I always looked forward to seeing him at the Yacht Club and at Dr Masciello's office. He always came to the office wearing everything Navy to tease the West Point graduate. I am not home so I will not be at the visitation or funeral but I am so,so sorry for your loss
