Devoted father of Maureen (Kevin) Angliss, Greg (Gloria) Schaefer, Barbara (Mitchell Geller) Schaefer, Susan (Andrew) DiLoreto, John (Tracy) Schaefer and Michael (Nancy) Schaefer. Adored by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Cathleen Chapey, the late Marie O’Connor, Laurence Schaefer and Richard Schaefer. Reposing Friday, September 20, 2019, 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at The Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Ave, Glen Head, NY 11545. Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Glen Cove, LI on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Cremation to be held privately.
