Zirkel - Jerome Louis (Jerry) of Holliswoods passed away peacefully with family present on August 31, 2019 at the age of 89.  Loving and devoted husband to Evelyn (nee Schlitz); beloved father of William (Bernadette), David (Barbara) and the late Mary Lou; cherished grandfather of Kristen, Michelle, Daniel, Bryan, Natalie, and Emily.  Also survived by his brother Don Zirkel and pre-deceased by siblings Gladys Wunsch, Gloria Simek, Peggy Maurer, Gene, Ray, and Vic.  Adored godfather and uncle to many.   He was a man who always tried to help others and never sought anything in return.  Family was the most important thing to him.  He would never say no to a family gathering, where he loved to drink a manhattan and play pinochle.  He will be dearly missed. Please bring your favorite stories to share with everyone at the visitation and lunch.

The family will receive visitors on Friday September 6th at Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, 20 Hicksville Road Bethpage, NY 11714 from 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:30.
