The first time I met Jim was last Labor Day weekend. I was new to the company working down in south FL. on a lightning strike. I was told “Jim” is going to bring some parts down to you. I didn’t know of a “Jim”. So, when Jim got to the site, I asked “So what do you do around here?” He looked at me and smiled and said “I’m the COO”. I paused and said “I guess that makes you my Boss”. He laughed and said “Yea, I guess it does”. Then he unloaded two suit cases of parts, one case was blue with a duck on it I think, the other pink. I chuckled at the cases. He said “Had to borrow these from my daughter so I wouldn’t have to check them”. After we got the switch up, he said he had a flight scheduled that he needed to catch so he could pick up his daughter. But that he would reschedule if I thought he needed too. I told him “no, I’m good”. I could tell how much he loved his kids by the look in his eyes whenever he spoke of you all. You could tell he loved being a Dad and loved his family.
God Bless you all.
You are in our prayers.

The sound of his laughter is still in my ear, I am always in awe for the joy for life, friends, and family that Jim displayed. Jim lived and loved his family with every fiber in his being. So very proud to have known and been supported by this man.
I remember every evening at dinner while he was out of town he had to step out to call his children and talk to Maureen without exception.
Maureen, Ian, Brennan, Riley, Darcy, and Shea may his love and laughter be what you remember most.

Although we've lost contact over the years, I will never forget the best boss I've ever had. He was kind, fair, approachable and understanding. He communicated at your level, making you feel comfortable in also calling him a friend. I'll never forget your voice or your smile. My deepest sympathies to all who loved him. May you find peace in the love he gave in everything he did. Heaven's doors were wide open...

I only knew Jim a short time however, He always greeted me with that positive look in his eye and a smile on his face. If there was ever anything needed he would always say "My door is open and if you need anything just call me". I am humbled to have met such a generous soul. Gone too soon!

We are so very sorry about the loss of an amazing person. A family man, a father, a mentor, a coach, a business man, a husband, a best friend. Jim was so much more than words can explain. The loss is immeasurable.
Jim holds a massive place in our families heart. We can only wish a peaceful healing, surrounded by love.
Feel no guilt in laughter, he’d know how much you care.
Feel no sorrow in a smile that he is not here to share.
You cannot grieve forever; he would not want you to.
He’d hope that you could carry on the way you always do.
So, talk about the good times and the way you showed you cared,
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared.
Let memories surround you, a word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day,
That brings him back as clearly as though he were still here,
And fills you with the feeling that he is always near.
For if you keep those moments, you will never be apart
And he will live forever locked safely within your heart.
With so much love
Brian, Jen, Olivia, Ella & Avery

Nobody knows how to say goodbye, it seems so easy 'til you try, then the moments passed you by, nobody knows how to say goodbye
Nobody knows how to get back home, and we set out so long ago, Search the heavens and the Earth below, nobody knows how to get back home
Through the darkness to the dawn, and when I looked back you were gone, heard your voice leading me on, through the darkness to the dawn
Love is deep as the road is long, and moves my feet to carry on, it beats my heart when you are gone, and Love is deep as the road is long
Nobody knows how the story ends, Live the day, doing what you can, this is only where it began,
I will Miss you Jim, you impacted me tremendously and for that you will never be forgotten-
We will meet up again!
