I worked with Scott for many years in Edison, I am so incredibly sad to learn of his passing. I tried for years to reconnect with him only to find his obituary here. Scott was a great guy, honest, funny and a great friend. Rest in peace my friend, you are and will always be very missed.

Hello Moxim Family,
I worked with a Scott Moxim in 1996 at the Boston Group in lower Manhattan. He was from Babylon and played college football. Perhaps it was for Kentucky and or St. John's. I honestly can't remember. He wound up dating a woman named Janine, who lived in the Huguenot area of Staten Island. If this is your Scott, I am truly sorry for your loss.
I have tried for years to find him. Nothing on Facebook or Linkedin. He and I were only friends for a year or so, but he left an indelible mark on me. So much so, that I have tried every year or two to find him to reconnect. But to no avail until today.
Judging by the location of his death notice and his birth year, I am 90% positive that your Scott is who I have been looking for. I don't know what happened, but he was far too young. God bless him and you, his family.
Regards,
Aron

Hi Aaron
You are correct that this is the same Scott that worked in the city and dated Janine at the time. Thank you so much for your kind words and for expressing the impact he had on your life. It is a gift to know that he has been on your mind and that you reached out.
Sincerely,
His sister Nicole

Moxim Family,
I had the honor of meeting Scott 15 years ago at IRR. My first impression was right on point; he had an infectious laugh, an easy going attitude, and most of all, he was they type of friend whom you knew would be there for you no matter what was needed. My fondest memories of him include the fact that he could hold an engaging conversation about any topic, having the BEST sense of humor, and making days bearable (even enjoyable) at work. Scott surely made a wonderful impression on everyone he met, and that is the true value of a meaningful life. Although he left us too early, may you find solace in knowing he was an extraordinary individual who touched everyone for the better. I hope you find comfort and peace during this difficult time in knowing you will be reunited in the afterlife. Our deepest condolences to your whole family ,
Sophia and Stella Potamoussis

My condolences to all who loved Scotty. He was a decent kind hearted man who we all liked very much at Rose's river deli aka Mias river avenue deli. He always came with a smile and left leaving us all with a smile. May your beautiful soul rest peacefully Scotty! My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you say your goodbyes I'm so sorry I could not be there.
