Dear Murino Family, At this difficult time of the unexpected loss of your beloved Dylan in the flesh, I would like to extend my utmost deepest and sincerest condolences. In times of grief, there are so many feelings and questions that arise and may rightfully leave you all feeling overwhelmed. Please know that there is not time limit one can put on grief, and that some handle it many different ways. Dylan did not commit suicide, he died by suicide. Ultimately, peace is what he needed just as it is what all of us humans need. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that he is now in peace, and I also want to offer any of his loved ones through this difficult grieving process by offering bereavement and grief counseling for biweekly for up to 12 months. free of charge via TeleMental Health and/or phone sessions. I am the Executive Director and Counselor of National Alliance for Mental Health & Substance Abuse Recovery (NAMHSAR ), and we have received about $300 in contributions as of to date from many different loved ones of Dylan. I wanted to personally reach out and express my gratitude as well as send my condolences, offer support, and inform you that all contributions made in memory of Dylan will be allocated in full to expand our marketing of our National Suicide Hotline. It will be named the Dylan Murino Initiative, and it will launch June 2nd. I started off in 2006 as a bereavement therapist and end of life counselor which I did for 3 years. I now offer a variety of therapies, but my speicialtoes are crisis intervention, suicide prevention, trauma, and anxiety and depressive disorders. I am an APA (American Psychological Associatiob) member, AAPC (American Association of Pastoral Counselors) member, NOHS (National Organization of Human Services Member) and an ATP (Aassociation for Transpersonal Counseling) with 5 certifications in suicide prevention. If interested in having Theological counseling integrated or provided in general, I will do so at no charge as well.
