Obituary of Endel Andy Lonks

Endel 'Andy' Lonks, of Pinellas Park, Florida and Tallinn Estonia, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Pinellas Park.   Andy was born in Saaremaa, Estonia on March 5, 1939, and immigrated to NY in the late 1940's.

Andy is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Ene Lonks, son Aaren, his wife Melissa, Andy's step children, Maris Renter, Vivian Urb, her husband Andres Urb and his daughter Pärl, Heikki Riim and his wife Piret, Andy's grandsons Samuel, Jeffrey, and step granddaughter Alia.  Andy was preceded in death by his endearing wife of 34 years, Anna (nee Ceskits), parents Eduard and Maria, and brothers, Arnold and Harold.

After many exciting years raising a family in Freeport, NY with his wife Anna, in retirement, Andy split the year taking in the Florida sunshine in winter, and enjoying the vibrant summers in Estonia.  He enjoyed traveling around the world and spending time with his extended family.

Family visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, 20 Hicksville Rd, Bethpage, NY between 11 am and  1 pm.  Funeral service will start at 1 pm and burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
