Florin-Richard K., of West Islip, LI, on October 6th, 2018. Beloved husband of Janet. Cherished father of Cynthia Florin, Nancy (John) Kollmeier and Richard (Gigi) Florin. Adored grandfather of Allyson, Lauryn, Sean, Logan, Ben, Luke, Jake, Taylor, Eva and Reid. Loving brother of James Florin and predeceased by sister Patricia. Dear uncle of many. Richard was a devoted teacher and coach for nearly 40 years at both the West Islip High School and St. John the Baptist High School. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy.). A funeral service will be held Sunday 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
