James G. Madden, of Plainview, LI, on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Retired NYPD Detective and proud Army Veteran who served in the Korean War. Beloved husband of Anne (Keenan) Madden. Devoted father of James (Ellen), Joanne, Eileen (John) Giovanazi, Maureen (Joe) Finnen, Brian (Beth), Michael (Sue). Cherished grandfather of Kerri, Kaitlyn, Joey, Christina, Ashley, Brendan, Alexa, Keara, Ryan, Katie and Shane. Pre-deceased by his two angel sisters Ann and Dorothy. Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Bethpage Funeral Home, 20 Hicksville Road (1-mile north of Southern State Parkway, Exit 29). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial, Monday, 11 AM at Our Lady of Mercy, Hicksville. Interment St. Charles Cemetery, LI. Visiting Saturday & Sunday 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 PM
