Obituary of Glenn Zachry

Zachry- F. Glenn of West Islip, LI, on September 1, 2018. Beloved husband of Linda Zachry. Proud father of Christopher (Susan) Zachry, Ryan (Nicole) Zachry and Meghan Zachry. Cherished grandfather of Savannah, Emerson and Jordan. Loving son of the late Henry and Blanche Zachry. Adored brother of Mary Lynn Tozer, Geraldine Trpicovsky and the late Barbara Raser and Bing Zachry. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. Proud U.S. Marine Corp. Reserve Veteran. Had an accomplished 36 year career with MetLife where he was inducted into the Management Hall of Fame. Glenn was an avid golfer who was proud to say he had two hole-in-ones one week apart on the same hole. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 Mile West of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial, Wednesday 11:00 AM, at St. Patrick's R.C. Church, Bay Shore, LI. Interment North Babylon Cemetery, North Babylon, LI. Visiting Monday 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Tuesday 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Research in Glenn's name at Litwin-Zucker Research Center, 350 Community Drive, Manhasset, NY 11030 or Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, The Cooper Center,
