Obituary of Patrick Henry

HENRY, Patrick, formerly of Babylon Village, L.I., passed away surrounded by his loving family on July 22, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Theresa Lennon Henry. Devoted father of Lindsay P. Henry, Jennifer A. Henry, James Henry, Margaret Henry (Bradley) Shaw and Elizabeth Henry Kennedy. Cherished grandfather of Sarah Henry, Theresa Henry, Elizabeth McCabe, Aidan McCabe, Trevor Henry, Emma Henry, Jack Henry, Blake Shaw, Patrick Shaw, William Shaw, James Kennedy, Ian Kennedy, and Katherine Kennedy. Dear brother of Margaret Daly and the late Capt. Thomas E. Henry. Retired New York State Supreme Court Justice, former Suffolk County District Attorney, Lieutenant in the United States Navy, Korean War Veteran, Officer in the United States Merchant Marine, 63 year volunteer with Babylon Village Fire Department, Phoenix Hose Co. Graduate Dwight High School, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Washington & Lee University, Law School. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy.). A funeral service will be held Friday 11:00 AM at St. Peter’s by the Sea Episcopal Church, Bay Shore, L.I. Interment Babylon Cemetery, Babylon, L.I. Visiting Wednesday and Thursday 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Springbrook-Sunshine House, 105 Campus Dr., Oneonta, NY 13820.
