Life Story for Salvatore Ruello

Salvatore Ruello, 93, of Indian Land, SC, passed away Tuesday morning, June 26, 2018.

Mr. Ruello was born December 22nd, 1924, in Brooklyn, New York, and was the son of Philip Ruello and Rosalie Caminitti.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Veripapa Ruello.

His immediate family includes son, Philip Ruello and wife Rosalie; daughter, Karen Calabrese and husband Carmine;  four grandchildren, Laurie Ruello, Christina Lewis, Christopher Calabrese, Robert Calabrese and one great granddaughter, Brinkley Lewis.

He served 2 years with the United States Army and proudly served in World War II. He worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist for the Department of Defense in New York, NY. , and retired in 1985.

Salvatore’s hobbies included telling jokes and making apple pie.
