Obituary of Douglas Richard Wood

Douglas was born on 12/31/1988 in Bay Shore, NY. Growing up in a loving home he is survived by his dear Mother and Father Kathleen and Doug Wood. Loved by his sister and brother in law Dawn and Tim Saxon and sister Janine Marie Perez. Cherished by his Grandmother Roberta Wood. Adored by his numerous nieces and nephews, his many cousins, and Aunts and Uncles.

Douglas worked as a Physical Therapy Rehab director and enjoyed fishing, baseball, softball, and golf. A passionate Mets and Giants fan he shared many great moments with his family. “Dougie Fresh” was a fun loving young man that always walked around with a smile and had a great sense of humor. A kindhearted individual Dougie touched the lives of all that he came in contact with and will be forever missed and never forgotten. We love you Doug!
