Obituary of Gunther Rudolf Glasbrenner

Glasbrenner, Gunther R. “Guy”, of East Islip, LI on March 18, 2018. Retired sergeant of the Suffolk County Police Department after 26 years of dedicated service. Proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Beloved husband of Anne Marie Glasbrenner (nee Chuber). Loving father of Susan and Karen. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 Mile West of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). A religious service to be held at the funeral home Thursday evening. Cremation to be held privately. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Gunther’s loving memory to Suffolk County Police Memorial Fund, c/o Craig Vasey, P.O. Box 893, Wading River, NY 11792. Visiting Wednesday and Thursday 2:00PM until 4:30PM and 7:00PM until 9:30PM.
