Obituary of Robert Emmet McGeary

Robert Emmet McGeary, 55 years old died on Saturday, December 9, 2017.   He was the fifth child of Tom and Peggy McGeary, born on June 3,1962.  He grew up in Bethpage, NY attending St. Martin of Tours elementary school and Holy Trinity and then Bethpage High Schools.   He made his living as "The Waterbed Guy" and was a founding member of the infamous Electric Dudes.  At the time of his death he was living in Patchogue, NY but his heart was located in the   Plainview/Bethpage/Farmingdale area and Brant Lake, NY.  He leaves behind his loving daughter, Lynzie McGeary and her mom, Debbie (Ashley and Philip); his mother Peggy McGeary, his brother Tom McGeary and lovely sisters Kathie Matthews (Gary), Peggy Fura and Maureen Henry (Mike, his dear friend) as well as many nieces and nephews: Eric (Jean), Diana (his protégé),  Brian, Kristen (his God-daughter), Michael (Marisa), James (Naara), Michael & Megan. He is also survived by his great-nieces and nephew, Brooke, Avery and Michael Anthony.  Emmet will be greatly missed by his family and also by his Many Many Many Many dear friends.
