Obituary of Rose June LoVerde

LOVERDE - Rose J., of Bay Shore, LI, on December 6, 2017. Born in Brooklyn. Beloved wife of the late Rosario LoVerde. Loving mother of Deborah Reith (Robert) and Roy LoVerde (Nadia). Adoring grandmother of Robert, Kristyn, Nicholas, Alexander and Nami. Her kindness, caring and selflessness endeared her to all who knew her. Rose was very active at St. Mary's Church and proudly helped to run the knitting ministries. She was passionate about her support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 mile west of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church, East Islip, LI on Monday at 9:45 AM. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, LI. Visiting Saturday and Sunday 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM.
