SPINKS – Mary Elizabeth, of East Islip LI on October 8, 2017 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Harley G. Spinks. Devoted mother of Joseph, Thomas, Harley, David and the late Lisa Marie Spinks. Loving mother-in-law of Diane, Gina, Christine and Karen Spinks. Cherished grandmother of Joseph, Christopher, Matthew, David, Kayla, Gregory, Jacquelyn, Jason, Harley, Jack and Kate. Adored great grandmother of Arianna, Carter and Emma. Dear sister of Joan Gossett and the late James Brickett. Fond aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 mile west of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church, East Islip, LI on Friday at 9:45 AM. Interment to follow at Long Island National Cemetery, Pinelawn, LI. Visiting Thursday 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM.
