Obituary

Eileen Recco, nee McCarthy, gained her angel wings on August 8, 2024. She was a licensed professional nurse who brought her humor and wit to supporting people for over 37 years. While here on Earth, she enjoyed spending time with her family. As Eileen’s children grew, she was often seen on the sidelines supporting her children at soccer as a coach or by cheering. Eileen loved the arts in many ways. She was a published poet and a lover of music. Eileen always spoke about her travels across the United States and Alaska with her husband and friends with great joy. Her happy place was upstate in the mountains with her family. Eileen was a free spirit who loved her convertible cars, especially her Mustang which she sometimes drove a little too fast! Her greatest joy was being with her 4 grandchildren Ethan, Tessa, Caroline, and JoJo. She had a particular affinity for her pets and supporting charitable causes. She is preceded by her parents, Raymond and Betty McCarthy. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joseph; her children Jeanette, Joey, and Chris as well as her grandchildren Ethan, Tessa, Caroline, and Joey.
