DALY - Patrick J., of Wantagh passed away on Feb 8th. Born in Manhattan, Pat was the only child of the late Margaret and Patrick Daly. Beloved and devoted husband of Agnes (pre-deceased) for 69 years. Loving father of Pat (Kathy), Maureen, Mike (Diane) and Doreen. Cherished grandfather of Trish (Travis), Bryan, Theresa, Megan and Lisa and great grandfather of Miles. Growing up Pat loved sports and ran track, earning him a track scholarship to St. John’s University. His love of track eventually led him to become the first CYO track coach at St. James in Seaford. Pat enjoyed a successful run coaching an enthusiastic and talented team. While an avid sports fan, Pat was a loyal and passionate fan of the NY Yankees, NY Giants and St. John’s Red Storm. Pat’s family and his Catholic faith were so important to him. He always gave thanks to God for his family, close friends and many blessings. He was also proud of his Irish heritage. Dad, Grandpa, Poppy, Great Grandpa - we are grateful for all of our happy and joyful memories of you and will cherish them always. Rest in Peace in God’s love.
