Obituary

SMATLAK - Irene “Bonnie”, of Bay Shore, Long Island, on January 1, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Edward Smatlak. Devoted mother of Victoria Anne Tuttle, Lauretta Thibeaux, Joseph Smatlak, Concordia van Hoesel and the late John Wayne Smatlak. Cherished grandmother of twelve and great-grandmother of sixteen. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Causeway). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial Tuesday, 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Bay Shore, Long Island. Interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Bay Shore, Long Island. Visiting Sunday and Monday, 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
