McEnroe – Thomas J. of Islip Terrace, LI on March 23, 2022. Retired Bronx FDNY Lieutenant. Beloved husband of the late Theresa. Devoted father of Thomas and Maureen McEnroe, Maureen and Michael Meier, Eileen and John Schroeder and Daniel and Jeanne McEnroe. Cherished grandfather of 13 and two predeceased. Beloved brother of Patricia Wilson and Claire Lamb. Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street. Celebration of the liturgy of Christian Burial, Monday 10:00 am at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, Islip Terrace, LI. Burial to follow at St Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, LI. Visitation Saturday 7-9:00 PM and Sunday 2-4:00 PM and 7-9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Tom’s name to FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation, Ltd. PO Box 340949 Brooklyn, NY, 11234.
