Guerra, Elvira "Vera" of Babylon, LI on February 24, 2022 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Albert. Devoted mother of Albert (Janece), and Jerry (Jennifer). Loving grandmother of Janece "Nece", Alissa, Jessica, Allison, Emily, Amanda, Melissa and Rebecca. Beloved sister of Camille Chisholm and Eileen Haiduck. Loving Aunt of Candida and Camille Haiduck as well as Douglas and Brian Chisholm. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, Visiting Friday 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM 1225 Montauk Hwy., (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy.). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial Saturday 9:30 AM at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Babylon, LI. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, LI. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Vera's loving memory to The American Kidney Fund 11921 Rockville Pike Suite 300 Rockville, MD 20852.
