Obituary

Keegan, Anne Coffey 97, on September 27, 2021. Resident of Dominican Village, Amityville and Saltaire, Fire Island. Formerly of Sunnyside, NY. Predeceased by her husband, Thomas and son Michael (Ellen). Cherished mother to Barbara Strong (John), Teresa (Michael Goldberg), Kathleen and Ellen. Devoted Nana to 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy.). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial Friday 11:00 AM at Queen of Angels Church, Sunnyside, NY. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, NY. Visiting Thursday 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne’s name may be made to Fire Island Lighthouse Preserve, 1 Burma Rd., Ocean Beach, NY 11770 or Dominican Village, 555 Albany Ave., Amityville, NY 11701. www.chapeyfamily.com
