Sarah Faye Meurer passed away on September 11, 2021. She was 71 years old. Last October our world shifted with the cancer diagnosis she received. We are thankful for the last 11 months that she fought to stay with us and every extra memory we were each able to make. Faye was the proud mother of 6 children. Faye’s greatest love was her family and all of her children were proud to call her mom. She was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman of endless spirit and strength. She will be missed everyday. Faye is survived by husband Donald, her six children Charlotte(Sean), Marjorie(Michael), Robert, Amanda(Erik), Kenneth(Crystal) and Melissa(Joseph); fifteen grandchildren Shannon, Micci, Alexis, Nina, Brooklynn, Caleb, Jillian, Ronan, Aiden, Paisyn, Delphie, Vance, Hudson, Liam, Charlotte Claire and great-granddaughter Adriana. The wake and visitation will be held this Tuesday, September 14 from 4pm-8pm at Chapey’s Funeral home in West Islip.
