Obituary

Russo – Joseph, of Islip Terrace, LI on August 3, 2021. Proud Veteran of the United States Navy. Beloved husband of Gerry. Devoted father of Gina (Trevor) Engblom and Tara Russo (Ricardo Guerra). Cherished grandfather of Trevor, Kyle and Jackson. Retiree of Verizon. Joseph was a longtime member of the Great South Bay Power Squadron and the East Islip Anglers. He was an avid boater, his treasured boat was the Ride On. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 mile west of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). Religious Service at the Funeral Home on Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, LI. In Lieu of flowers donation can be sent for Kyle’s Research Cure; please speak to Gina or Tara for any questions. Visiting Thursday 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Friday 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM.
