Obituary

Dorothy L., age 91 of N. Massapequa, on July 4, 2021. Cherished mother of Carol, Kathleen, Edward & Irene(William) Sweithelm. Pre-deceased by sons Christopher & Eugene, and by beloved husbands, Eugene Hansen(1953-1995); and Werner Pollock (2001-2021). Loving grandmother of Nicole Sweithelm. Devoted sister of Al Becconsall; and pre-deceased by her brother Robert Becconsall and sister Jean Nestor. Loving stepmother of Janet, Carol, Joanne and Robert. Treasured aunt and friend, she will be dearly missed by all. Dorothy was a teller for many years at the Bowery Savings Bank, and a dedicated volunteer and supporter of the Sisters of St. Dominic, in Amityville, NY. Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Bethpage, NY. Celebration of The Liturgy of Christin Burial, St. James R.C. Church, Seaford. Interment St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, LI.
