Clarence Sanford went home to be with his Heavenly Father on September 20, 2020. He was raised in Prince George VA. Clarence married the love of his life Marion and they lived and raised 4 children on Long Island NY. Buck as he was lovingly known as loved the Lord, his wife, his family and friends. He was blessed to have traveled to Israel to visit the birthplace of Jesus, along with his trips to Hawaii. He loved his trips to Pennsylvania with his wife to visit the Amish Country. He is proceeded in death by his son Don Sanford, his parents Hilliard and Maybelle Sanford and his brothers Harold Sanford and Kenneth Sanford. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Marion Sanford, his children Hope and John Samet, Holly and Dallas Weston, Amy Sanford, Brenda and Lance De Vaul, his only granddaughter Tammy Samet, grandsons Kenny Edwards and Christopher Edwards, great grandsons Rorenise Toafili and Kenny Edwards Jr. Also his sister Francis Dingas, brother Norman “Butch” and wife Carol Sanford and brother David “Vincent” Sanford Services are at Chapey’s and Sons Funeral Home 20 Hicksville Road, Bethpage NY 11714 September 25, 2020 – 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm Masonic Service at 7:30 pm Religious service at 8 pm Services will be held at T J Morriss in Petersburg VA And burial at the Southlawn Memorial Park VA
