Schelling– Gertrude “Kitty,” of Islip, NY, on December 5, 2019. Beloved wife of Jack Schelling. Devoted mother of John Charles (Emarie) Schelling III, Karen (Stephen) Mosher, Kevin (Susan) Schelling, Cindy (Clifford) Mulqueen, and Richard (Patti) Schelling. Cherished grandmother of nine. Loved great grandmother of one. Kitty was a lifelong mahjong player, avid Starbucks Iced Green Tea Latte drinker, and a devoted “sports mom.” She was dedicated to her children, her family and her faith. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 mile east of S.S. East Islip, LI. Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial Monday 1:15 PM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, East Islip, LI. Cremation to follow privately. Visiting Sunday 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM.
